Master Electrician

Position Summary

Description/Responsibilities

• Plan and execute electrical projects and ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes.
• Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.
• Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
• Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans.
• Supervise, mentor, and train electricians and ensure quality of work.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Conduct inspections and tests of electrical systems.
• Respond to electrical emergencies and perform necessary repairs.
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
• Planning and executing electrical installations in commercial and industrial settings.
• Identifying and repairing electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
• Maintaining current electrician’s license or identification card to meet governmental regulations.
• Implementing and maintaining safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Perform other duties related to the general maintenance and operation of the facilities owned by Circor.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Master Electrician.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all necessary equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
• Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
• Valid license to practice profession is required.
