Master Electrician

About the role

The Master Electrician is a highly skilled professional responsible for overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. This role requires extensive experience and expertise in electrical systems, codes, and regulations. The Master Electrician manages teams of electricians, ensures compliance with safety standards, and leads electrical projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical installation and maintenance tasks from conception through completion.
• Supervise and coordinate teams of electricians to ensure efficient workflow and compliance.
• Provide technical expertise in electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Ensure all electrical activities meet safety standards, codes, and contract requirements.
• Inspect and test installations, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on electrical maintenance and repairs.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience.
• High school diploma required.
• Must possess a valid Master Electrician License.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and system operations.

Working Conditions

• Work in both office and field environments.
• May be required to respond to emergency calls or perform overtime work.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces and heights.
• MRPT required.
