What You’ll Do
- Create and maintain new products and SKUs within Vention's ERP system.
- Enter and validate complete Bills of Materials (BOMs), including components, quantities, units of measure, and relevant product attributes.
- Sure product structures accurately reflect engineering designs and manufacturing requirements.
- Configure SKUs according to the intended supply chain strategy, including make/buy, sourcing, inventory, and fulfillment considerations.
- Ensure new products are properly configured and ready for procurement, manufacturing, and fulfillment.
- Participate in the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process and ensure approved changes are accurately reflected in the ERP system.
- Cook with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders to ensure changes are implemented within the required timelines.
- Maintain accurate revision levels and product structures throughout the product lifecycle.
- Identify discrepancies between engineering documentation, physical products, and system master data, and drive their resolution.
What You Bring To The Table
- 4–5 years of experience in master data management, ERP/PLM administration, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering operations, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience working with BOMs, SKUs, product structures, and ERP/PLM systems.
- Prior knowledge of supply-chain compliance topics, from import/export tariffs, to country of origin, and local content calculation.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy.
- Ability to understand technical product information and translate it accurately into system data.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple changes and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage large dataset, validate data quality, and structure complex analysis.
- Proficiency with Excel or similar data-management tools.
- Experience with an ERP/PLM such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar is an asset.
- Experience in a manufacturing or hardware environment is strongly preferred.
