Master Data Analyst
Position Summary
The Master Data Analyst is responsible for managing and enhancing data systems to ensure the integrity and consistency of the organization's master data as it pertains to the Global Sales Operations. This effort includes, but is not limited to, identifying and correcting inaccuracies to improve data quality, as well as aiding in the classification and enrichment of data for better analytics and operational use.
Essential Functions
- Manage and improve data systems to ensure the integrity, consistency, and security of the organization’s Sales Operations master data.
- Identify and correct inaccuracies within the database, enhancing overall data quality.
- Aid in classifying and enriching data for analytics and operational applications.
- Review master data and business processes to identify opportunities for enhancing data quality and optimizing operations.
- Provides standard revenue and performance reporting/analysis for business reviews, and builds reports/sales tools in addition to ad hoc analytics related to accounts, products, and surgeons.
- Participates in driving internal improvements and efficiencies within the Sales Operations team.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Prefers Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or Finance.
- Proficient with Power BI, Informatica or other relevant software packages.
- Analyzes quantitative information and applies professional judgment to resolve a variety of moderately complex problems.
- Works on problems of moderate scope; exercises judgment and independently identifies the next steps.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Advanced critical thinking and problems-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products.
Physical Demands
- Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Required to possess specific vison abilities, including: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focus.
