Master Blackbelt – Continuous Improvement

About the role

The Master Blackbelt – Continuous Improvement position at Trystar is a critical role within the company's efforts to maintain its leadership in power solutions and advance sustainable and renewable energy initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Business Process Optimization, Program Management, this individual will leverage data analysis to drive strategic decisions, optimize processes, and support innovation across the company's diverse product lines.

Responsibilities

• Use metrics to support decision-making and validate improvements.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends and insights.
• Develop statistical models to support product development and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of data used for decision-making.
• Prepare detailed reports and visualizations for stakeholders.
• Stay updated on emerging statistical methods and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SAS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
• Preferred skills: PMP certification, Lean Sigma Black Belt, experience in electromechanical assembly, familiarity with Epicor, data fluency with intermediate statistical capabilities (Minitab, JMP), experience owning lean transformations from discovery to sustaining.

Additional Information

Fluency in Spanish or French is a plus.
