Position Summary

Gloucester Toyota is seeking an experienced Master Automotive Technician to join our service team. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a highly skilled technician with strong diagnostic ability, dealership experience, and the ability to perform complex repairs efficiently in a professional service environment. Experienced technicians from all automotive brands are encouraged to apply. Toyota experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on a variety of vehicle systems
  • Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and HVAC systems
  • Utilize manufacturer diagnostic tools and service information
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
  • Test drive vehicles and verify repair accuracy
  • Maintain productivity and quality standards
  • Communicate repair findings and recommendations with service advisors and management
  • Assist with mentoring and supporting junior technicians when appropriate

Qualifications

  • Extensive automotive technician experience required
  • ASE certifications strongly preferred
  • Dealership experience strongly preferred
  • Toyota experience a plus but not required
  • Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to work independently in a high-volume service department
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
