Massage Therapist Supervisor

About the role

The Therapist Supervisor position at AIRE Ancient Baths is dedicated to supporting the Therapist Manager in leading and developing a team of massage therapists. This role involves supervising daily operations, ensuring service standards, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to therapists.

Responsibilities

• Daily Departmental Duties:
  • Supervise 18 massage therapists per shift.
  • Lead pre-shift AM and PM meetings.
  • Manage daily therapist schedules.
  • Conduct walk-throughs of treatment rooms.
  • Oversee service and break assignments.
  • Check time records and ensure grooming standards.
  • Maintain communication with other departments.
• Team Leadership:
  • Provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Hold one-on-one check-ins and resolve team conflicts.
  • Aid in onboarding and training new team members.
• Miscellaneous:
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate in recruitment processes.
  • Support daily operations during absences, emergencies, or staffing needs.
  • Train and demonstrate massage services.
  • Lead refresher trainings and support continuous skill development.
  • Support bathhouse operations.

Requirements

• Highly organized and operational skills.
• Experience in spa, aesthetics, or wellness operations.
• Direct team leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of massage therapy experience.
• Proactive, hands-on approach.
• Night and weekend availability.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of New York.

Pay

$80,000K & $47/hour + tips (massage).
