About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to administer massage and body treatments. Every role contributes to upholding our treasured culture, performs their job duties consistently, and handles other job duties as assigned in our ever-changing environment.
$1,000 Sign-On Bonus | $40,000 - $80,000 Annually | Must be licensed in North Carolina
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all written mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures, manual memos, and oral instructions.
- Administer massage and body treatments as appropriate for licensing.
- Stay updated on the latest developments pertinent to the spa industry and the department, including product knowledge.
- Prepare massage, body, and hydrotherapy equipment and daily supplies needed.
- Must be First Aid/CPR Certified or become certified within 90 days of employment.
- Evaluate product and treatment quality and handle guest complaints with conflict resolution skills.
- Ensure the privacy of each guest while being sensitive to their needs.
- Demonstrate computer software skills as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required and a minimum of 1 year related experience in massage/body therapy desired; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess current licenses and certificates for massage therapy as required by the State, County, and City/Town.
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm.
- Willingness to work and be flexible in work scheduling.
- Ability to make sound decisions.
