Massage Therapist (Part-Time)

The Lodge at Primland, Auberge Collection is a year-round mountain retreat located on 12,000 acres in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. The property offers luxury accommodations, including cottages, Tree House suites, and rooms in the main Lodge, along with amenities such as a championship golf course, wellbeing retreat, fitness center, observatory, and farm-to-table dining experiences.

About the role

As a Massage Therapist, you will provide personalized massage and spa services to guests with professionalism and expertise in the healing arts. You will greet guests, prepare treatment rooms, ensure guest comfort and safety, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to and from treatment rooms, attending to their needs throughout their visit.
• Prepare treatment rooms according to guest specifications and property service standards.
• Perform prep work, clean, and restock rooms as required.
• Ensure guest comfort and safety during treatments.
• Maintain professional ethics while delivering personalized service.
• Keep the work area stocked with necessary supplies and ensure all spa areas, including locker rooms, are immaculate.
• Uphold sanitation and sterilization standards as directed by law and spa policies.
• Report any staff or guest incidents, including complaints or misconduct, to management.
• Promote spa services, treatments, sessions, retail, programs, promotions, and discounts.
• Attend and participate in training and staff meetings.

Requirements

• Valid Massage Therapist State License.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to going above and beyond for guests.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on department needs.
• Capability to stand and engage in physical activity for prolonged periods.

Pay

$35 - $40 per hour, including hourly rate, gratuity, and commission.
