Responsibilities
- Massage guests using accepted techniques and rubbing compounds.
- Monitor exercise equipment, spa, and pool areas to ensure proper use, safety, and cleanliness.
- Greet guests and provide instruction or assistance with exercise equipment, tanning booths, pool facilities, locker rooms, and spa services.
- Follow prescribed safety procedures and report accidents or hazards immediately to security and supervisors.
- Maintain adequate supplies of towels and sundry items; monitor inventory and notify management when ordering is necessary.
- Adhere to handbook guidelines for spa equipment usage and department protocols for treatment and professional conduct.
- Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staff.
- Perform related work as requested.
Requirements
- 2 years of Massage Therapist experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Graduation from an accredited massage school with a minimum of 500 hours.
- State of Nevada Massage Therapist License.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new modalities and services to enhance guest satisfaction and stay updated with industry trends.
- Familiarity with various types of spa treatments and procedures.
- Full knowledge of company and department rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and customers.
- Flexibility and availability to be on call 24 hours a day.
