Responsibilities

• Massage guests using accepted techniques and rubbing compounds.
• Monitor exercise equipment, spa, and pool areas to ensure proper use, safety, and cleanliness.
• Greet guests and provide instruction or assistance with exercise equipment, tanning booths, pool facilities, locker rooms, and spa services.
• Follow prescribed safety procedures and report accidents or hazards immediately to security and supervisors.
• Maintain adequate supplies of towels and sundry items; monitor inventory and notify management when ordering is necessary.
• Adhere to handbook guidelines for spa equipment usage and department protocols for treatment and professional conduct.
• Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staff.
• Perform related work as requested.

Requirements

• 2 years of Massage Therapist experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an accredited massage school with a minimum of 500 hours.
• State of Nevada Massage Therapist License.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new modalities and services to enhance guest satisfaction and stay updated with industry trends.
• Familiarity with various types of spa treatments and procedures.
• Full knowledge of company and department rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and customers.
• Flexibility and availability to be on call 24 hours a day.
