About the Role

Woodhouse Spas are seeking an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing a luxurious and restorative experience for our guests while helping them enhance their overall well-being.

Classification: Part-Time up to 32 hours per week. Weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Performs exceptional massages and body treatments following award-winning protocols.
• Fully prepares each and every treatment based on our treatment criteria.
• Educates the guest on the benefits of the service performed and recommends products for home use.
• Talks up all the other great services we offer and provides enhancement treatments.
• Maintains an up-to-date massage license for the state of Illinois.
• Provides excellent guest services and ensures customer satisfaction.
• Communicates effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area according to current State Board regulations.
• Utilizes salon software to manage client information.
• Works well with other team members, managers, and interacts with our guests.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.
• Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position.
• Exercises good judgment and makes decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals.
• Communicates effectively with guests, managers, and team members.

Requirements

• Active IL State Massage Therapy License required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
• Strives to receive additional continuing education to stay the best in their profession.
• Experience with hospitality and providing exceptional customer service.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand and bend over for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to perform multiple services during shift.
