Massage Therapist

About the role

We are seeking a professional, skilled, and compassionate Massage Therapist to work at a corporate facility located in New York, NY. You will perform massage and/or body treatments, assess clients’ body conditions to determine best treatment practices, utilize and maintain necessary supplies and products, and ensure the cleanliness of treatment rooms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms

Requirements

• Current local registration, certification, and/or licensure (e.g., Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Massage Therapist, Licensed Massage Practitioner, Registered Massage Therapist)
• Knowledge of a variety of massage modalities (e.g., Deep Tissue, Pre-natal, Sports, Swedish, Chair Massage)
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
• Minimum one year of experience as a massage therapist or related occupation
• Strong customer service skills to network, engage, and interact with clients, guests, and participants

Pay

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $60/hr to $70/hr. Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, certifications, geographic differentials, and other business and organizational needs.
