Responsibilities

• Prepare the massage room
• Sanitize the massage room in between patients and at the end of a shift
• Communicate with patients, coworkers, and ordering Chiropractor
• Deliver personalized care to patients, depending on their injuries and needs
• Assist the Team in any way possible during down time
• Arrive to work punctually
• Utilize UKG for time-keeping
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Active Nevada Massage Therapy license required
• Experience working with musculoskeletal injuries
• At least two years of experience preferred
• Stamina to perform 50-minute massages for the entirety of a shift
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and adaptability
• Hand-eye coordination

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of activity
• Physical strength and stamina to comfortably massage patients for 50 minutes at a time
• Ability to massage for the entirety of a shift
• Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length
• Working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position
• Climbing stairs, climbing ladders
• Working with arms extended at shoulder length
• Lifting a maximum of 20 lbs.

Motor Vehicle Report Monitoring

In the event an employee does not maintain the required insurance coverage and/or a valid driver’s license, they will not be eligible for mileage reimbursement and are barred from operating any motor vehicle for company business. Operating a motor vehicle for company business without a valid state-issued driver’s license or required insurance may result in immediate disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
