Massage Therapist

About the role

Beloit Health System is seeking a Massage Therapist to join the team at NorthPointe Spa. The position offers varied shifts primarily from 1:30pm to 10pm, with hours varying per diem.

Responsibilities

• Perform Massage Therapy and Body Wrap Services within the scope of training
• Modify treatments based on client feedback and response
• Order required supplies and communicate with vendors
• Auxiliary in scheduling spa services
• Work independently or in groups to provide a high-quality spa experience
• Document according to department policy
• Promote services to potential clients
• Prepare, maintain, and clean the work area for cleanliness and safety
• Present an annual in-service to staff
• Participate in Performance Improvement Programs
• Engage in community education and marketing programs

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Massage Therapy Program
• Licensed in the state(s) where Massage Therapy will be performed
• Current CPR certification (within 3 months of hire)
• Effective communication skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Organizational and prioritization skills
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical conduct
• Comply with hospital policies, rules, and regulations
• Participate in educational programs and personal development

Qualifications

Must be able to organize and prioritize multiple demands, maintain ethical conduct, and keep confidential information secure. Must adhere to established hospital policies, rules, and regulations.

Skills

Must possess the ability to communicate effectively, problem-solve, and maintain ethical conduct while handling confidential information.
