About the role

We are currently seeking passionate and creative teachers to assist with our growing need for virtual tutoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to middle and high school students as they are out of school for medical, behavioral, or various unique reasons.
• Act as an aide for the student, guiding them through educational material and ensuring their academic success.

Requirements

• State-certified
• B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
• Massachusetts teaching license
• Comfortable working with Middle and High school students
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs, especially in High School Math and Science

Qualifications

• Reliable internet connection
• Working computer and distraction free work space

Skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Benefits

• $20/hr
• Compensation for both instructional sessions and designated daily administrative time

Pay

• $20/hr

Schedule

• Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM–10:00 PM EST
• Minimum commitment of 12.5 hours per week
• Preference given to candidates who can increase availability during November–early June
