Day-to-day Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Orbitrap mass spectrometer and HPLC
- Characterize antibody therapeutics using mass spec, including intact mass measurement, bispecific antibody chain pairing analysis, N-glycosylation analysis and PTM profiling through peptide mapping
- Afford assistance with proteomics experiments from study design, sample preparation to data analysis to understand the mechanism of action for novel therapeutic drugs
- Maintain detailed experimental record
- Communicate and collaborate across a diverse interdisciplinary team
Required Education / Experience And Skills
- BS degree required
- Must be able to work onsite daily
- Experience with independent operation and maintenance of Orbitrap mass spectrometer and HPLC
- In depth knowledge and extensive hands-on industrial experience with intact mass measurement, subunit analysis, peptide mapping, and N-glycosylation profiling
- Strong understanding of antibody sequence liability and data interpretation in forced degradation samples
- Experience with Xcalibur, Qual Browser, BioPharma finder and Byos is preferred
- Experience with bispecific antibody and ADC is preferred
- Experience with proteomics is a bonus but not required
Pay
The expected salary range for this role is $70 - $85 per hour
