Mass Properties Engineer, Air Vehicles

About the role

The Mass Properties Engineer will play a crucial role in the design and integration of advanced mechanical systems for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. They will be responsible for ensuring high-performance, resilient, and scalable mechanical systems that meet the demands of complex, contested environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate advanced mechanical systems for air vehicles and missile platforms
• Ensure mechanical systems meet performance, reliability, and scalability requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement mechanical solutions
• Contribute to the development of detailed mechanical designs and specifications
• Support testing and validation activities throughout the development lifecycle

Requirements

• B.S. or M.E., or equivalent experience
• 5+ years’ experience in aerospace or related industry
• Excellent communication and team skills
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Siemens NX proficiency
• TOP SECRET DoD clearance
• UAV design experience

Pay

US Salary Range: $129,000 - $171,000 USD
