Masonry Specialist

About the role

Aqua Blue Pools is seeking an experienced Tile & Masonry Craftsman to join our team. We offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

- Setting tile inside and around swimming pools—from waterline tile to decorative accents, using proper prep and waterproofing methods. - Installing pool coping (natural stone, precast, or paver-style), ensuring flush, safe, and beautiful finishes. - Cutting, fitting, and laying stone veneer and hardscape materials with close attention to detail and longevity. - Performing masonry repairs to existing pool tile, coping, and stonework with precision and professionalism. - Collaborating with construction and maintenance teams to ensure quality results. - Maintaining clean, safe work areas with strong attention to jobsite organization and finish quality.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience specifically in tile setting and coping/stonework, preferably around pools or in outdoor/hardscape environments. - Knowledge of surface preparation, thinset mixing, grouting, and waterproofing membrane application. - Ability to read and interpret design plans and layout patterns confidently. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to long-lasting results. - Experience with natural stone, travertine, marble, and porcelain tile. - Excellent teamwork skills and comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions. - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
