Masonry Design Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Aid showroom customers with selections and design needs.
• Offer drawings on customer requests or to showcase material details for customers and installers.
• Offer samples or literature to customers.
• Generate quotes and complete orders when necessary.
• Provide technical information about sustainability, installation, and product care.
• Manage P21 portal.
• Respond to phone and email inquiries.
• Aid phone customers with questions and orders.
• Keep showroom displays current and organized.
• Help maintain the masonry sample room.
• Participate in trade organizations.
• Support stone administrative tasks.
• Perform additional duties as directed by management.

Requirements

• Strong background in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills with attention to detail.
• Patience when interacting with customers and coworkers.
• Highly organized.
• Able to multitask.
• Effective teamwork and communication with all levels of personnel and customers.
• Ability to prioritize workload and work independently without constant supervision.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a retail or fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of brick and/or building materials is a plus.
• Customer service background is a plus.
• Previous experience in a retail or fast-paced environment.
• Strong background in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
