About the role
TSMC Arizona is looking for a Mask Process/Equipment Engineer to join our 4-nanometer fab in Phoenix, Arizona. As part of the EBO team, you will work on EUV and Optical mask making, including leading-edge mask writing, processing, inspection, repair, cleaning, and metrology technology.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments, interpret and extract insightful results from complex data sets to optimize the mask process and achieve precision control.
- Apply statistical process control methods to establish and sustain a robust mask process flow.
- Install, qualify, and sustain manufacturing equipment to expand capacity with punctuation and quality.
- Apply systematic approaches to solve equipment issues, improve tool uptime, availability, and utilization efficiency.
- Collaborate with equipment and material suppliers to identify technology gaps, devise, evaluate, and qualify mitigation and continuous improvement solutions.
- Participate in scheduled night shifts and weekend on-duty rotations.
Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. Degree in an engineering or scientific field such as Physics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree or above preferred).
- No prior experience required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively on cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
- Ability to adapt priorities and responsibilities to support business needs.
- Team player who can multitask and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Work Location & Travel
This role is based in Phoenix, Arizona, with no travel required.
