About the Role

• Enjoy 10-hour shifts
• 100% Outpatient
• Phone call requirement if escalated from nurse call line
• Providing care to a varied adult and pediatric patient community in a rural setting
• Full complement of imaging, lab and specialty services on-site
• Fully outfitted procedure room available

Responsibilities

• Work independently/autonomously and interdependently with other health care professionals
• Perform extensive patient assessments using diagnostic methods and instruments
• Develop and modify appropriate plans of care
• Communicate effectively and interpersonally with patients, families, and members of the health care team

Requirements

• Master’s Degree Required
• Current Missouri license preferred or the ability to obtain licensure
• Current DEA licensure
• Licensed as an RN in the state of Missouri or Kansas depending upon designated work location
• Successful completion of a CNS or APRN master’s degree in a nursing program in the specialty area or must demonstrate successful completion of a formal post-graduate track or accredited program (within the specialty area) within a school of nursing granted graduate-level academic credit (e.g., graduate, non-matriculating program)
• Licensed in state of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location
• Currently certified by a nationally recognized certifying body acceptable to the Missouri or Kansas State Board of Nursing
• Hold and maintain a current Document of Recognition
