Responsibilities
- Develop age-appropriate Martial Arts curriculum for after-school students
- Lead weekly in-person classes with enthusiasm and expertise
- Establish a well-structured and lively classroom that keeps students engaged
- Foster a positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment for students of varying skill levels
- Build connections with students in a warm and inclusive environment
- Track student growth and offer positive, helpful feedback
- Create a memorable experience for the children in your class
Requirements
- Subject matter expertise in Martial Arts (Karate, Taekwondo, MMA, BJJ)
- A passion and skill for building hands-on projects with kids
- Excitement, joy, and passion for both teaching kids and personal development/learning
- Ability to create a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Bring your own voice and creativity to each class you teach
- Be cooperative, supportive, and flexible
- Be dependable, proactive, and thrive when given autonomy
Qualifications
- Fun, enthusiastic, and adaptable
- Experience teaching school age children
- Past teaching experience is preferred but not required
Skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing situations
- Strong organizational and planning skills

Pay
Teachers in the Togetherhood network are paid per class, either flat rate or per-student (determined by the partner school).
