About the Role
The MarTech Product Lead will drive and implement best-in-class marketing data platforms and tools that support Citi’s Commerce Media business with data, content, orchestration, and ad delivery capabilities. This role involves integrating Customer Data Platform (CDP), LiveRamp, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Google Ad Manager (GAM), and a marketing data lake (MDL). The product lead will partner closely with Commerce Media agile teams across AdTech, audience composition, ad delivery, and content management to scale onsite and offsite advertising.
This role requires a deep understanding of data, orchestration, and the digital landscape, as well as MarTech architecture. The product lead will collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, analytics, risk, technology, product, and design teams to deliver solutions for the Commerce Media business.
Responsibilities
- Platform Ownership: Oversee Google Ad Manager, ensuring it meets business requirements, user needs, and performance expectations. Integrate data and content platforms with Commerce Ad platforms (GAM, LiveRamp) to enable onsite and offsite marketing.
- Strategic Vision: Develop and communicate a strategic roadmap for Commerce Media capabilities in alignment with organizational goals and evolving marketing strategies.
- Tech Development: Steer the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of platforms, including data ingestion, data processing, and audience enablement using Customer Data Platform (CDP).
- People Management: Oversee a direct and indirect team responsible for defining and driving the MarTech strategy and transformation in support of growth initiatives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders from marketing, IT, and product teams to understand and fulfill digital content and experience needs.
- Project Management: Collaborate with project teams to prioritize, plan, and execute key platform initiatives, ensuring alignment with platform capabilities and compliance standards.
- Optimization & Upgrades: Manage ongoing platform optimization, including regular upgrades, feature enhancements, and content performance tuning to achieve a high-performing digital experience.
- Vendor Management: Lead RFPs, evaluate and liaise with third-party vendors and support teams to ensure the efficient operation of the platform.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement and manage tools to monitor and optimize platform performance.
- User Support & Training: Provide guidance and training for content authors, designers, and developers to maintain consistent quality and usability standards across digital content.
- Governance & Compliance: Enforce governance policies around usage and permissions to ensure security, data privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Risk Assessment: Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for Citi’s reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in implementing and managing MarTech capabilities across data, offer, content, and orchestration domains.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with marketing technology architecture, backend systems, data dependencies, and front-end interfaces required to implement and execute digital marketing campaigns.
- Product Management Skills: Customer-centric and tech-savvy product leader who has driven technical and operational teams to deliver solutions focused on outstanding experiences supported by agile and efficient operational processes.
- Project Management Skills: Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies; act as a change management champion, educating the greater marketing organization on leveraging new capabilities to drive strategy.
- Platform Management Skills: Track, measure, monitor, and manage the performance, availability, and usage of MarTech platforms.
- Innovation: Identify and evaluate new technologies, tools, and trends in the data domain and recommend solutions that enhance data platform capabilities and value.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills for evaluating digital performance, user behaviors, and platform metrics.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred.

Pay
Full-time salary range: $144,480.00 - $216,720.00. In addition to salary, eligible employees may receive discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
