About the role

We are building a robust marketing data infrastructure at RSM. This role is central to making foundational decisions, architecting connections, and setting standards for data governance. The right candidate will shape RSM's marketing technology strategy for years to come.

What Youâll Build

  • Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) â First Use Case
    • Evaluate the current CJA implementation
    • Connect CJA to a Customer Data Platform (CDP)
    • Ensure CJA reporting reaches and influences stakeholders
  • Customer Data Platform (CDP) â Second Use Case
    • Vendor evaluation and selection
    • Data model design
    • Audience activation framework
    • Implementation governance
    • Integration patterns with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics
  • Journey Orchestration (AJO or equivalent) â Third Use Case
    • Assess journey orchestration landscape
    • Design journey architecture
    • Define decision logic, suppression rules, and personalization tokens
    • Map high-priority buyer journeys and build technical scaffolding
  • Martech Stack Architecture â The Ongoing Foundation
    • Architectural vision for the entire Martech ecosystem
    • Data governance frameworks and technology roadmap
    • New platform investments evaluation
    • Internal authority on Martech architecture

What You Bring

  • 10+ years in Martech, marketing data platforms, or marketing operations
  • Proven experience evaluating and selecting technology platforms
  • Familiarity with CDP landscape, including data modeling, identity resolution, and audience activation
  • Experience architecting across multi-platform stacks
  • Strong command of B2B data concepts
  • Stakeholder credibility to influence senior leaders on technical decisions
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree a plus

Required

  • Direct experience with Adobe Experience Platform and/or Adobe Customer Journey Analytics
  • Exposure to composable CDP architecture, reverse ETL, and data warehouse-native marketing stacks
  • Experience in professional services, financial services, or another B2B environment
  • Background in marketing analytics or buyer journey measurement

Preferred

  • Direct experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Experience in professional services, financial services, or another B2B environment
  • Background in marketing analytics or buyer journey measurement
