About the Role

As an Area Human Resources Manager, you'll be the go-to HR expert for at least two properties, partnering directly with the Director of Human Resources or General Manager (depending on the property). You’ll lead the HR team in ensuring smooth daily operations—from recruiting top talent to supporting training, compensation, and benefits. Your focus is delivering exceptional HR support that enhances employee satisfaction, drives business success, and ensures compliance with company standards and employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Approach every guest and team member with a welcoming, friendly, and courteous attitude to create positive experiences.
• Oversee the full hiring process, including job postings, recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and ensuring new hires integrate smoothly into the team.
• Develop and implement creative employee programs, resolve workplace issues, and manage incentives, benefits orientation, and recognition programs (e.g., Employee of the Month).
• Ensure all HR paperwork, reports, and records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and employment laws.
• Coordinate and distribute the employee newsletter, maintain open-door communication, and ensure clear and positive information flow across the team.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a hotel or related industry; or a 4-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience.
• College coursework in a related field is helpful.
• Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of Human Resources and employee regulations to ensure property compliance.
