Responsibilities
- Works in Medical Services, Integrated Care & Complex Patient Populations Division under the supervision of the Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker.
- Diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders within the context of marriage, couples, and family systems, as per the applicable Business and Professions Code(s).
- Treat incarcerated patients according to standardized procedures and refer them to other licensed health care professionals as needed.
- Travel to other CDCR adult institutions as required.
Requirements
- Under the general direction of the Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker, the MFT works in Medical Services, Integrated Care & Complex Patient Populations Division.
- Must possess a current/valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
