Marketplace Analyst
About the role
Travoom is seeking a Marketplace Analyst to analyze product, marketplace, and customer signals to support measurable operating decisions. This is a full-time, 100% remote position open to candidates in the United States. The role supports digital product, marketplace, sports, customer, and data operations, with an emphasis on marketplace activity, listings, supply-and-demand signals, quality, and operating trends.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain practical product or marketplace measures with clear source and calculation notes.
- Clean, validate, and analyze usage, customer, listing, support, or operational data.
- Build recurring reports and investigate shifts, exceptions, or gaps that need follow-up.
- Translate findings into concise insights, questions, and recommendations for cross-functional partners.
- Support experiments, requirements, and improvement work with baselines and post-change measurement.
Expected outcomes: Metrics are reproducible, findings distinguish signal from data-quality issues, and product partners receive clear evidence for prioritization and follow-up.
Requirements
- Experience with spreadsheets, reporting, and structured analysis.
- Ability to define measures and explain assumptions or limitations clearly.
- Curiosity about user behavior, marketplace operations, and product workflows.
- Strong attention to data quality and reproducibility.
Work Environment
The Marketplace Analyst will work through approved digital systems, shared documents, email, phone, and collaboration tools. Secure handling of company and customer information, reliable availability during agreed working hours, and clear written status updates are essential.
Pay
Full-time, associate-level role with a base compensation range of $42,000–$62,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
