Marketing Videographer | Texas
About the role
Arrowquip started in 1988 on a family farm in Australia with one goal: build cattle handling equipment that makes hard work easy and safe. We brought it to North America in 2003. Today we are a Canadian manufacturer selling into markets around the world, and we are nowhere near finished. Our why is simple: ranchers deserve better than what this industry has handed them, as do the dealers who stand behind them.
This is a marketing role that happens through a camera. We are not looking for a camera operator. We are looking for someone who understands that every piece has a job to do: get our point of difference in front of a producer, build demand for it, and move equipment off dealer lots. Beautiful footage that does not sell anything is a hobby. We want the person who can do both, and who gets a genuine charge out of watching their work show up in the numbers.
Responsibilities
You own the creative process from pitch to final cut:
- Collaborate with the team to plan stories that align with our market, products, and brand strategy.
- Pitch ideas, align on direction, and ensure the brand stays intact.
- Plan and execute shoots, run the camera, and edit the footage.
- Deliver work that is on-brand, serves the strategy, and is worth putting a budget behind.
While you won’t build media plans or handle distribution, you’ll work closely with those who do to ensure your creative drives results.
Requirements
- A creative portfolio proving you can carry a piece by yourself—camera, lighting, storytelling, and editing.
- Directing instinct to create content with a clear narrative, not just visuals.
- Ability to elicit authentic responses from people who are new to being on camera.
- Full ownership of your creative work, including color grading, sound design, and engagement tactics.
- A marketing mindset—you can explain why a piece will work, not just that it looks good.
- Modern tooling in your workflow, including AI and agentic tools to streamline production.
- Deep understanding of and respect for rural life and the people who live it. Our audience works with their hands, starts early, and can spot insincerity.
We do not care where you went to school or whose logos are on your reel.
Work Environment
You’ll be based in Texas, with one week a month at our head office in Manitoba to collaborate with the marketing team and engineers. For your first six months, expect roughly a second week a month for onboarding. After that, you’ll take occasional road trips for field shoots on ranches and at dealerships across the market.
The team moves fast, challenges each other openly, and supports one another. We’re never satisfied with “good enough,” and we expect everyone to pull in the same direction. It’s a fair but demanding environment where the work improves through honest feedback.
Growth & Development
You’ll receive extensive support up front, including time on real operations, ride-alongs with sales teams, hands-on equipment training, and mentorship from industry veterans. After six months, your growth is self-driven—our best people never stop learning about the customer.
Benefits
- Autonomy to excel in your role.
- Fast decision-making and support—no waiting quarters for approvals.
- A talented team backing you on strategy, brand, and distribution.
- Compensation tied to the impact of your work.
