About the role
Avenue Z is hiring a hands-on marketing technology specialist to support lead-generation campaigns across client accounts. This role owns the Salesforce processes, campaign operations, tracking, routing, reporting, and data-quality practices that make marketing activity measurable and tied to sales opportunity. This is a technical marketing operations role for someone who can work directly in Salesforce and related tools, troubleshoot lead flow from forms and ad platforms into the CRM, and keep campaigns moving from setup through QA and reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and able to turn incomplete requirements into practical, documented solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support lead-generation campaigns across forms, landing pages, advertising platforms, CRM systems, marketing automation, analytics, and reporting tools.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce fields, lead statuses, assignment rules, routing logic, reports, dashboards, and related marketing processes.
- Build, QA, and troubleshoot the flow of leads from campaign touchpoints into downstream sales processes.
- Maintain tracking standards, including UTMs, conversion events, form tracking, pixels, and source/medium definitions.
- Help marketing, paid media, content, client services, and sales teams understand what is happening in the funnel.
- Own assigned workstreams from requirements through implementation, QA, documentation, launch, and post-launch validation.
- Maintain CRM hygiene, data-quality checks, issue tracking, and clear next steps.
- Create SOPs, checklists, field maps, reporting definitions, and troubleshooting guides.
- Escalate architecture, scope, access, or vendor decisions when needed while independently resolving routine issues.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in marketing technology, marketing operations, CRM administration, demand generation operations, lifecycle operations, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience supporting lead-generation campaigns from setup through launch, QA, reporting, and optimization.
- Strong experience with Salesforce, especially campaign management, lead routing, reports, dashboards, fields, statuses, and data quality.
- Ability to translate marketing or sales needs into CRM setup, campaign processes, tracking plans, and reporting outputs.
- Comfortable troubleshooting how data moves between forms, websites, ad platforms, marketing automation, Salesforce, analytics, and dashboards.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable in an agency or client-services environment with changing priorities and multiple accounts.
- Able to work independently while escalating architecture, access, scope, and vendor decisions appropriately.
Preferred Experience
- Salesforce Campaigns, Pardot/Account Engagement, lead scoring, nurture programs, and sales handoff processes.
- HubSpot CRM, Marketing Hub, workflows, forms, lists, lifecycle stages, or reporting.
- GA4, Google Tag Manager, UTM governance, conversion tracking, and paid-media tracking.
- Supermetrics, Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
- LeadsBridge, Zapier, Make, native connectors, APIs, webhooks, imports/exports, or similar integration tools.
- Basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, or data-querying skills for troubleshooting.
- Experience with AI-enabled marketing workflows or evaluating new marketing technology tools.
