About the role

This position is responsible for developing and executing account marketing and consumer activation strategies for key retail accounts. The goal is to drive sales growth, improve brand health, and increase consumer engagement. The role involves managing marketing plans and serving as a primary contact for activation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute seasonal account marketing and activation plans.
  • Manage marketing calendars aligned with product launches, retail initiatives, and brand campaigns.
  • Drive consumer engagement, sell-through, and market share growth across key accounts.
  • Execute in-store and omnichannel activations to win at the point of purchase.
  • Measure campaign performance and optimize based on sales and brand KPI results.
  • Partner with Sales, Merchandising, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure execution excellence.
  • Manage activation budgets, tools, and implementation processes.
  • Analyze consumer, customer, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary contact for consumer activation initiatives internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Merchandising, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: Candidates must possess 5+ years of experience in Account Marketing, Retail Marketing, Merchandising, Category Management, or Sales. This includes experience developing and executing retail activation and marketing programs.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consumer goods, retail, apparel, or sporting goods is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of retail, consumer behavior, and merchandising principles.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability in collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in analytical problem-solving.
  • Strong skills in organization and attention to detail.
  • Experience with budget and project management.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and make data-driven decisions.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually.

Schedule

The role is partially remote, with some travel required.
