About the role
The Marketing Specialist, with a focus on Lifecycle & Retention, plays a key role in advancing OSV’s mission by leading retention marketing efforts across OSV’s product portfolio, helping drive customer engagement and ongoing relationships with Catholic schools, parishes, and dioceses.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary marketing lead for retention campaigns across OSV’s product portfolio.
- Develop and implement multi-channel lifecycle campaigns (email, digital, print, and social) that drive customer engagement, product adoption, and renewal.
- Execute customer communications across key stages of the customer experience, including onboarding, engagement, and renewal.
- Cook up retention marketing efforts across products to support a consistent and connected customer experience.
- Identify opportunities to improve retention marketing efforts across products, helping inform more effective customer engagement and renewal strategies.
- Partner with product managers, sales, and customer success teams to align marketing efforts with customer needs and business priorities.
- Develop campaign messaging and content in collaboration with the Creative Design team to ensure clarity, consistency, and mission alignment.
- Support targeted account engagement efforts in partnership with sales, with opportunities to contribute to account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives.
- Track and report on campaign performance (e.g., engagement metrics, retention indicators), identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Contribute to the execution and ongoing development of strategic marketing initiatives supporting American Church Inc. (ACI).
- Perform additional responsibilities in support of departmental and organizational priorities as needed.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in financial, education, or faith-based industries.
- Strong understanding of the Catholic Church and familiarity with the needs, dynamics, and audiences of Catholic parishes, schools, and diocesan leaders.
- Proven success developing and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Basic understanding of content marketing, digital advertising, and customer engagement strategies.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Interest in developing skills in data analysis, customer segmentation, and account-based marketing (ABM).
- Experience with marketing tools (CRM, email platforms, Canva, etc.) and SEO/SEM preferred.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, related field required, or equivalent education and work experience.
