What You’ll Do
- Develop comprehensive internal and external promotion plans to maximize awareness and engagement before, during, and after each project, collaborating with growth, content, and design teams, utilizing digital tools.
- Conduct in-depth analysis and develop insights from data to uncover new marketing opportunities and audience understanding.
- Lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, overseeing content positioning and program development to boost awareness and engagement across social, on-network, and off-network media channels.
- Collaborate with senior marketing leadership to define project strategy and objectives, spearheading initiatives focused on customer acquisition, advocacy, and identifying sponsored opportunities, as well as creating innovative virtual and physical experiences with partner and customer marketing teams.
- Engage and manage multiple media agencies, optimizing their workflow and prioritizing media-related tasks.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with stakeholders to ensure all content and campaigns for media and social channels are high-quality, consistent with brand voice, and representative of the brand.
- Act as a subject matter expert and thought leader, establishing best practices and standards for advertising and aligning strategic marketing efforts company-wide and globally.
- Lead efforts to analyze, track, and report on campaign/project ROI based on predetermined pipeline, revenue, and qualified lead metrics, utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) or other project management systems.
- Monitor the effectiveness of each activity (e.g., leads generated, deals influenced, deals closed, cost per acquisition) and collaborate closely with sales teams to maximize campaign impact.
- Serve as a primary client point of contact for managing complex, large-scale media planning and collaborate with global media teams to scale strategies.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and analysis of creative social media content, social selling initiatives, employee and leadership activation, and measurement strategies.
- Establish and maintain external relationships with venues and suppliers/agencies, including those for registration, livestreaming, contract negotiation, spatial and audiovisual (AV) planning, activation, merchandise, food and beverage, virtual services, mailer gifting, and speaker agents.
- Drive the development and implementation of pioneering marketing communications strategies to achieve media and public amplification across all marketing communications.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience driving mid-size to large-scale marketing projects from inception to completion.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and promotional plans.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven insight development and ROI tracking (e.g., pipeline, revenue, qualified leads).
- Experience managing and collaborating with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external agencies (e.g., media, registration, AV, virtual suppliers).
- Expertise in content positioning, program development, and media channel optimization (social, on-network, off-network).
- Ability to act as a subject matter expert and thought leader in marketing and advertising.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) or other project management systems for tracking and reporting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and partnership-building skills.
- Experience in social media content development, social selling, and employee/leadership activation.
- A strategic mindset with a focus on maximizing return on investment.
