Marketing Specialist - Dallas
We’re seeking a strategic, Dallas-based Marketing Specialist to lead business development efforts across our Aviation, Government, Critical Facilities, and Industrial & Logistics Practice Areas. In close partnership with senior leadership, this role drives the creation of high-impact proposals, presentations, and pursuit materials that win work. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller with sharp graphic design sensibility, exceptional attention to detail, and disciplined project management skills. You thrive in fast-paced environments, bring a client-service mindset, and approach challenges with positivity and flexibility. Candidates will join a team of like-minded creatives with a love for telling stories about the architecture and design industry.
Responsibilities
- Partner with principals, senior staff, and other marketing team members to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and thought leadership materials
- Create business development and thought leadership collateral with an emphasis on graphic design and visual storytelling
- Contribute to and help lead pursuit strategy, planning, and positioning
- Build a strong understanding of Gensler’s portfolio, practice areas, and capabilities
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate as an engaged, proactive member of the marketing team
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in marketing within a design or professional services firm
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
- Ability to collaborate closely with leadership on win strategy and storytelling
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, with strong skills in information design and layout
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Familiarity with the proposal process (RFP/RFQ) is required
- Experience in the A/E/C industry is preferred
- Portfolio with work samples required (supply PDF(s) or a link to your online portfolio with your application)

Pay
Our annual base salary range has been established based on local markets.
