Attention Job Duties
- Develops, implements, and disseminates marketing materials through various communication mediums utilizing appropriate technologies.
- Manages multi-channel campaigns from concept through deployment, maintaining brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Coordinates with vendors, designers, and agency partners to produce and place creative materials on time and within budget.
- Supports event marketing and recruitment programming, including on- and off-campus visits, email campaigns, high school outreach, and signature college events.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans based on research and established strategies.
- Identifies opportunities to strengthen brand presence and campaign effectiveness across earned, owned, and paid channels.
- Affords assistance in planning and executing paid media campaigns including digital, programmatic, social, and out-of-home.
- Captures, analyzes, prepares, summarizes, and disseminates data and trends relevant to ongoing or future marketing activities.
- Prepares performance reports and contributes to campaign optimization based on data insights.
- Maintains monitoring of higher education marketing trends to support evidence-based strategic decisions.
- Supervises and mentors student marketing staff.
- Collaborates with campus and college partners including Advising, Admissions, and college departments, centers, and institutes.
- Serves on departmental and university committees as appropriate.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

Compensation
Well-qualified candidates can expect a starting annual salary within a range of $52,000 – $62,000. UW System employees receive an excellent benefit package.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a closely related field, OR equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Minimum two (2) years of progressively responsible marketing experience with demonstrated results across multiple channels.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and content production.
- Experience using marketing analytics to evaluate performance and guide decision-making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop content for varied audiences and purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and independence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in higher education marketing, enrollment marketing, or a mission-driven institutional environment.
- Familiarity with paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, programmatic, Stack Adapt) and campaign management.
- Experience supervising student workers or junior team members.
- Knowledge of brand management principles and integrated marketing planning.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Monday.com) and marketing analytics dashboards.
- Experience with customer relationship management programs (Slate) and graphic design software (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Express, Canva).
