About the Role

The Marketing Specialist is an integral member of the Marketing and Communications team, combining big-picture thinking with exceptional attention to detail. This role assists in overseeing and implementing the overall marketing strategy, specializing in planning, managing, and executing marketing projects to support the bank’s growth initiatives. Responsibilities include supporting in-branch marketing requests, bank segment campaigns, and collaborating with sales, operations, and other internal departments, as well as external agencies and business partners.

United’s Marketing and Communications team is filled with passionate and creative marketers, focused on increasing brand awareness, promoting product and service adoption, and driving growth through external marketing while cultivating an exceptional internal culture.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of strategic marketing plans and monitor progress to ensure successful rollout.
  • Manage campaign development and execution from start to finish, including intake, project management, scheduling, system set-up, and reporting.
  • Communicate and execute marketing plans for assigned projects, developing schedules, outlining tasks, and maintaining deadlines.
  • Proactively communicate with key stakeholders on next steps and ensure projects align with budgets and timelines.
  • Lead and participate in meetings with cross-functional teams to keep projects on track and provide updates.
  • Collaborate with the creative team and subject matter experts to generate and proof content for multiple channels.
  • Manage marketing vendor relationships (e.g., ad agencies, design firms, web developers, print vendors) to maintain service levels and quality.
  • Manage and maintain branded material requests and inventory in Supply Room and DAM (Digital Asset Management).
  • Assist with sales and marketing duties as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including required compliance training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications studies, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a corporation or agency, supporting marketing/project management strategy or as an account executive.
  • Experience in communications, project management, and agency management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong multitasking, communication, and business knowledge.
  • Experience running cross-functional projects with large teams.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude, sound judgment, and strong working relationships.
  • Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Participation in all required regulatory and compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training.

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring schedule flexibility, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay

USD $76,000.00 - USD $78,412.00 per year.
