Marketing Specialist

About the role

We're looking for an all-around awesome Marketing Specialist to lead marketing, community involvement, and public relations efforts in the Minot market. From planning member events and driving social media to generating content and crafting campaigns, this role offers a little bit of everything.

Responsibilities

• Event Planning: Organize and execute member, community, and employee events that are meaningful, memorable, and FUN.
• Community Engagement: Lead local volunteer initiatives, manage sponsorships, and foster relationships that support our mission.
• Marketing Strategy & Execution: Contribute to and implement marketing plans using traditional media, digital marketing, content creation, and social media.
• Content Creation: Write engaging copy for social media, email campaigns, newsletters, website content, and more.
• Campaign Management: Work with budgets and data to ensure campaigns are effective and aligned with credit union goals.
• Internal Collaboration: Partner with departments to promote products, services, and internal initiatives.
• Brand Champion: Ensure consistent, on-brand messaging across all platforms and represent Town & Country Credit Union with positivity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally with increasing responsibilities.
• Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
• Experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Event planning skills and a knack for organizing details.
• Experience with website CMS tools and familiarity with Canva and email marketing platforms.
• Creativity, initiative, and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
• A love for teamwork, community involvement, and making people smile.
