About The Role This full-time position is based on-site in Indianapolis. As a Marketing Specialist, you will assist with preparing and coordinating local marketing activities while interacting directly with customers and visitors. You will help explain campaign messages, respond to questions, and share observations that may inform future efforts. The position is suited to someone who enjoys communicating with people, takes care with written and verbal details, and can manage multiple tasks in an organized way. You will work with colleagues to prepare materials, schedules, and event information, and you will help keep activities moving by tracking tasks and following up when needed. You will receive guidance on the campaigns and processes you support. We welcome applicants who have developed relevant skills through work, education, volunteering, or other practical experience. Qualifications You should be able to communicate professionally in person and in writing, including writing clear emails and explaining information in a straightforward, accurate manner. Strong attention to detail is important, as you will help review campaign materials and share messages with customers and visitors. You should be comfortable keeping simple records, organizing information, following schedules, and tracking outstanding tasks. Experience in marketing, retail, hospitality, events, or customer service is useful, but it is not required. Practical examples from coursework, volunteering, community activities, or other experiences are welcome. A specific degree is not required. Because this role is on-site, you should be able to attend the Indianapolis workplace reliably. Responsibilities Help prepare campaign materials, schedules, and relevant information for local marketing activities. Check that materials and details are organized and ready for use, and coordinate with colleagues to support timely preparation. Speak with customers and visitors in a professional, approachable manner, answer questions, and explain campaign messages accurately. When a question requires additional information, communicate it to the appropriate colleague and follow up as needed. Record customer feedback and recurring questions in a clear, useful format so the team can consider them when planning future campaigns. Maintain simple activity records, keep track of assigned responsibilities, and follow up on outstanding tasks. Communicate progress and potential issues to colleagues, contribute to coordinated event and campaign execution, and handle information with care. Support other related marketing activities as needed to help the team deliver organized, consistent customer-facing experiences.
