Marketing Specialist

About the role

Jet Direct Mortgage is a rapidly growing direct lender located on the vibrant Downtown Bay Shore strip. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic marketing assistant with an understanding of basic marketing principles and a solid foundation in design who is looking to grow, learn, and build on that foundation in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out production of marketing material for Jet Direct Mortgage as a corporate entity as well as assist our growing sales team with their individual marketing endeavors.
• Affirming website and marketing materials are up to date and accurate.
• Aiding in all aspects of marketing, including but not limited to: ensuring website and marketing materials are up to date and accurate.
• Aiding in planning and implementing marketing & sponsorship activities in coordination with staff, sales team, and executive management.
• Keeping accurate inventory of trade show assets and promotional material.
• Posting content to social media sites.
• Maintaining and updating lists and distribution.
• Additional tasks will be assigned depending upon assessment of candidate’s strengths & interests.

Requirements

• A solid understanding of layout and design principles and clean design aesthetic.
• A portfolio of work to demonstrate ability and design style.
• Ability to multitask requests from multiple administrators.

Qualifications

• Experience with the following: (expertise level not required) -- Adobe creative suite, particularly with Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator

• Microsoft Office products
• Email Marketing Platforms
