Marketing Specialist

Description Of Duties

• Work in conjunction with the Marketing Manager to coordinate and prepare proposals and qualification packages for project opportunities
• Aid in the conceptualization and development of brochures, client presentations, proposals and marketing campaigns
• Responsible for gathering the information, writing content, final production, printing and collating
• Work closely with Estimating, Operations, or Human Resources to develop deadline-sensitive deliverables such as brochures, qualifications, packages, proposals, presentations and award submissions
• Compile client requested proposal material which includes some writing and editing of narrative and content such as project descriptions, fact sheets, and project staff resumes
• Aid in the development of a project information database
• Maintain proposal and project detail files
• Monitor corporate marketing budgets
• Aid with the branding of company mission and values
• May assist with community outreach and/or event planning
• Aid with social media and/or digital marketing communication
• Maintain and update company website and company Intranet updates

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, Business or related field
• 3+ years' related industry experience
• Excellent writing, analytical skills, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills; technical writing skills preferred
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines on simultaneous projects
• Positive, energetic and outgoing personality with the ability to be self-management, working independently or collaboratively
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Commitment to quality work product
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as Adobe Creative Suite and/or InDesign
