Marketing Specialist

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Marketing Specialist in Boca Raton, FL. This role supports marketing and outreach efforts through graphic design, social media assistance, event representation, and content creation for the department.

Responsibilities

• Design visually compelling flyers and promotional materials.
• Represent the department at tabling and presentation events.
• Research promotional items and opportunities for Campus Recreation.
• Capture photos at Campus Recreation-related events.
• Develop strategies to enhance engagement via marketing materials and social media, considering target audiences (students, prospective students/parents, alumni, and the campus community).
• Collaborate with the Student Affairs Marketing Team on long-term and short-term projects, including campaign strategy and analytics monitoring.
• Provide leadership on various projects, campaigns, and promotions.

Requirements

• Degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 2.5 GPA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe Suite, Canva, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
• Experience managing social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.

Pay

$18.00 per hour

Schedule

• Monday - Saturday, 8 am - 7 pm.
• Up to 20 hours per week.
