Marketing & Social Media Internship 2026

About the role

This internship offers hands-on experience in healthcare marketing while supporting Richmond’s leading women's healthcare practice.

Responsibilities

• Create social media content across multiple digital platforms.
• Design graphics, videos, flyers, and promotional materials using Canva.
• Help coordinate and respond to Google Reviews.
• Update website and blog content.
• Support Breast Cancer Awareness, Women's Wellness, and community outreach events.
• Assist with fundraisers, educational seminars, symposiums, and community partnerships.
• Create internal signage and marketing materials.
• Assist with photography, video content, and event promotion.
• Track social media engagement and marketing performance.
• Support special marketing projects and administrative initiatives.

Requirements

• Current college or graduate student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Journalism, or a related field.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Tech-savvy with experience using Canva and social media platforms.
• Organized and dependable, with excellent attention to detail.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortably taking initiative while asking thoughtful questions.
• Collaborative, works well with others.
• Interest in healthcare marketing is a plus.

Qualifications

Bonus Skills: Video editing, Photography, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress or website editing, Google Analytics or social media analytics
