About the role
The Marketing Officer will perform a diverse set of concrete tasks to drive the organization's marketing efforts, from campaign development to customer acquisition and brand management.
Responsibilities
- Developing, planning, and presenting new activities for special holidays and commemorative days
- Promoting new products through media channels and social media
- Managing the website and Facebook page
- Acquiring new customers
- Writing promotional and advertising copy
- Conceptualizing and developing ideas related to trade show activities
- Providing support for company actions and events
- Conducting competitive analyses on a quarterly basis
- Co-developing and implementing the marketing plan
- Preparing, executing, and coordinating all marketing activities (e.g., advertising campaigns or trade shows)
- Organizing and conducting customer and market research
- Maintaining contact with relevant external parties (e.g., customers, suppliers, media, competitors)
- Approaching potential clients via email or phone calls
- Advising both executive and management teams on marketing strategies and the use of the appropriate marketing mix
- Preparing and presenting offers or new projects
- Building support (internally and externally) for new marketing campaigns
- Developing, launching, and executing online marketing and advertising campaigns, such as via Google Ads or social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
- Contributing to the optimization of brand identity and tone of voice for a brand, product, service, or organization
- Monitoring and analyzing the success of marketing campaigns (both offline and online)
- Co-developing and distributing press releases and newsletters
- Collaborating with colleagues in PR, communications, and sales
- Staying updated with relevant developments in the marketing field
- Setting up, managing, and optimizing the website
- Assisting with social media management and guidelines
Qualifications
- MBO+/ Marketing-related education
- Experience as a marketing employee or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
