Marketing Representative (Entry Level) - Pittsburgh, PA
About the role
A 24 month training and development program prepares you to become a sales professional in the insurance industry. The program includes hands-on sales training and insurance education, focusing on increasing new submissions, quotes, and premium through the promotion of web-based and telephone quoting systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct 20 sales calls a week to demonstrate web and phone quoting capabilities and set up insurance retailers on the web quoting system after successful demonstrations.
- Weekly reporting of sales meetings conducted and scheduling meetings for the upcoming week.
- Timely follow-up and continuous communication with customers and prospects to identify additional opportunities.
- Systematic prospecting and arranging meetings with potential new customers and those who have not reached their potential.
- Identify and establish relationships with key contacts to ensure business with the right people in each retail operation.
- Work with the team to review web activity for trends and address these trends immediately.
- Regularly discuss strategy and tactics with the Regional Sales Manager, including sales issues, travel plans, and follow-up activities.
- Pursue continuing education and insurance designations/licenses as outlined in the training and development plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000
Schedule
Hybrid schedule, working from the Pittsburgh, PA - Bridgeville area office on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and additional scheduled dates as needed. Remote work on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
