About the role

Salience Health is looking for a Marketing Project & Communications Manager who can bring structure, momentum, and consistency to a growing, multi‑location Marketing Department. The role centers on exceptional project management, coordinating marketing initiatives from idea through execution, building timelines, managing dependencies, driving approvals, coordinating internal and external partners, and ensuring projects stay on track and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate is a strong, thoughtful writer who can learn Salience’s voice and convey complex ideas clearly, accurately, and humanly across audiences such as patients, providers, employees, and the community.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Project & Campaign Management – Manage marketing projects and integrated campaigns from planning through launch and completion; translate priorities into clear project plans, timelines, owners, deliverables, dependencies, and deadlines; maintain campaign, content, communications, PR, event, and production calendars; oversee creative intake, assignments, production schedules, review cycles, approvals, and asset delivery; coordinate across providers, clinics, internal stakeholders, agencies, vendors, and other external partners; track outstanding work, anticipate roadblocks, and proactively communicate risks or delays; own follow‑up and accountability; build repeatable workflows and processes that improve Marketing operations.
  • Copywriting & Brand Communications – Write and edit compelling copy for campaigns, email, websites, landing pages, provider and patient communications, internal and executive communications, social, print, events, and other marketing projects; coordinate internal communications planning, message development, stakeholder input, approvals, scheduling, and distribution; maintain the Salience voice across audiences and channels; translate clinical or complex information into understandable language without losing meaning or accuracy; edit and proofread for voice, clarity, accuracy, consistency, and impact; collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to ensure messaging is accurate and human.
  • Marketing Operations & Execution – Coordinate day‑to‑day execution across digital, print, email, web, content, events, PR, and other channels; manage website and intranet content updates, publishing, and ongoing maintenance; support campaign setup, scheduling, testing, QA, launch readiness, and distribution; manage print, collateral, signage, inventory, proofs, production, and delivery; maintain organized, accessible marketing assets, files, and project documentation; coordinate agencies, printers, freelancers, media partners, and other vendors; track marketing invoices, purchase orders, subscriptions, renewals, purchasing documentation, and recurring commitments.
  • Performance & Reporting – Maintain recurring marketing dashboards, reports, and performance scorecards; monitor campaign pacing, lead volume, conversion trends, and performance against goals; identify meaningful trends, issues, or opportunities and help coordinate next steps; consolidate performance data from CRM, analytics, agencies, paid media, and other platforms; monitor campaign links, forms, landing pages, and digital experiences for accuracy and functionality.

What Success Looks Like

Success means marketing work moves forward with greater visibility, consistency, quality, and accountability. Projects have clear owners and deadlines, campaigns launch on time, and approvals, assets, or unanswered questions do not silently stall progress. Internal teams and external partners stay aligned, reporting is current, and details are organized while potential roadblocks are anticipated and resolved early. Communications are clear, thoughtful, accurate, and human, making complex clinical information understandable without losing meaning, reflecting both credibility and compassion.

What It Takes to Succeed

  • Exceptional project management – creating structure, establishing ownership, managing competing priorities, and driving work to completion.
  • Strong copywriting – understanding voice, tone, audience, messaging, and storytelling to turn complicated ideas into clear, compelling copy.
  • Operational ownership – not only identifying delays but determining actions needed to move work forward.
  • Marketing fluency – knowledge of how content, creative, digital, paid media, email, web, PR, events, and analytics work together.
  • Proactive communication – following up, surfacing risks early, and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Attention to detail – caring about accuracy, quality, and the small things without losing sight of larger objectives.
  • Heart – recognizing that behavioral healthcare is different and that word choice matters because the people behind the work matter.
