About the role

Victory Home Remodeling is seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist (Automation Specialist) to join our Marketing Operations team. Recent college graduates and early-career candidates located near Holmdel, New Jersey are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain CRM workflows, marketing automations, customer journeys, and lead routing automations across multiple business platforms.
  • Develop customer journeys, lead routing, and business process automations using established business rules.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Understand system data flow and create seamless customer and employee experiences through automation.
  • Execute assigned Marketing Operations projects from development through deployment.
  • Configure and optimize marketing technology platforms to support business objectives.
  • Support production deployments and provide Hypercare following new implementations.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automations, integrations, and business systems as organizational needs evolve.
  • Build and maintain integrations between CRM, marketing, communication, and operational platforms.
  • Configure and troubleshoot API and webhook-based automations.
  • Connect third-party platforms using APIs, webhooks, and low-code automation tools.
  • Validate data movement, synchronization, and data integrity across multiple systems.
  • Support new software implementations and platform integrations.
  • Troubleshoot workflow failures, automation issues, integration errors, API and webhook issues, and platform configuration problems.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to CRM systems, dialer platforms, lead routing, customer communications, and marketing automations.
  • Perform root cause analysis for production issues and implement long-term solutions.
  • Manage technical requests through the department's ticketing system.
  • Maintain and support existing workflows, automations, integrations, and marketing technology platforms.
  • Build operational reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Validate reporting accuracy, data integrity, and automation performance.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, workflow documentation, integration documentation, and troubleshooting guides.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in Marketing Operations, marketing automation, CRM administration, business systems, or similar MarTech environments through full-time work, internships, co-op experience, or relevant personal projects.
  • Familiarity building automations using workflow automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar automation tools.
  • Familiarity building or improving CRM workflows, business processes, operational workflows, or customer journey automations.
  • Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and JSON for connecting business systems and automating workflows.
  • Experience troubleshooting workflow automations, system integrations, CRM platforms, or marketing technology platforms.
  • Strong understanding of system data flows, CRM workflows, and business process automation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a desire to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong documentation and organizational habits.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Internships, certifications, portfolio projects, or hands-on experience with automation platforms are highly valued and encouraged.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with GoHighLevel (GHL), HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Salesforce, or other CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Familiarity building email and SMS marketing campaigns, customer journeys, lead routing, and lifecycle automations.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered workflow automation, AI agents, or AI-assisted business processes.
  • Familiarity building operational reports, dashboards, and business analytics.
  • Familiarity administering SaaS platforms and configuring business applications.
  • Familiarity with business process mapping and workflow design.
  • Familiarity working within a ticketing system or technical support environment.

Pay

$50,000–$60,000, based on experience and qualifications, with eligibility for an annual end-of-year performance bonus.

Schedule

Full-time (Monday–Friday).
