About the role

Mastermind.com is the #1 online platform for people who want to market and monetize their knowledge. This role is the execution layer of Mastermind's email and SMS marketing operation.

Responsibilities

  • Build, segment, and deploy high-volume email and SMS campaigns in HubSpot and SlickText end to end without hand-holding
  • Manage a 1M+ contact database, maintain list hygiene, and keep deliverability strong under pressure
  • Look at open rates, click-through rates, and conversion data and know exactly what to change and why
  • Build a Zapier workflow that eliminates a recurring manual task before someone else notices the problem exists
  • Coordinate with internal copywriters to align content with campaign timing and audience segmentation
  • Own the weekly campaign calendar, ensuring all communications are accurate and delivered to the right audiences on time
  • Maintain and optimize the marketing database, keeping segmentation aligned with campaign objectives
  • Import and organize external lists with full data integrity and compliance (CAN-SPAM, list hygiene)
  • Monitor deliverability and take proactive action to protect sender reputation and inbox placement
  • Track open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and deliverability across all campaigns
  • Analyze performance data and implement changes that move metrics, not just report on them
  • Run A/B tests and document outcomes so the team learns from every campaign cycle
  • Build and maintain SOPs and campaign documentation in Google Docs so the team is always aligned on deadlines and deliverables
  • Identify gaps in workflow and build the fix before they become a problem
  • Leverage Zapier, Airtable, and other tools to automate recurring manual tasks and improve operational efficiency

Requirements

  • 2+ years in marketing operations with direct ownership of email and/or SMS campaign execution
  • HubSpot Marketing Hub in active production use. Not just familiarity. Owned campaigns, built audiences, managed workflows
  • Hands-on experience managing large marketing databases. 1M+ contacts preferred. Strong segmentation methodology required
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze campaign performance and act on it, not just report it
  • Experience building or improving operational workflows and documentation processes
  • Strong cross-functional coordination skills. Comfortable managing handoffs with copy, design, and stakeholders without friction
  • AI tools as part of your daily workflow. You use them to move faster, not to say you use them
  • Experience in a subscription-based or online education business
  • HubSpot Marketing Software Certification
