About the role
The Marketing Operations and Communications Specialist supports marketing operations by coordinating communications, assisting with campaign execution, and ensuring consistency and quality across marketing materials.
Responsibilities
- Aid in executing marketing campaigns across email and digital channels.
- Track campaign timelines and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Support organization and maintenance of marketing assets and materials.
- Create and manage external communication materials including:
- Proofreading materials created by others.
- Coordinating with SMEs.
- Managing approval and distribution processes.
- Providing internal stakeholder updates as needed.
- Help manage and prioritize incoming requests and ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain and update marketing materials as needed.
- Cook up and coordinate competitive market research to support marketing strategy.
- Provide quality control for broker, client, and member communications (including campaigns) to align with branding, content, and formatting.
- Aid in writing and deploying social media content.
Qualifications

- A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field of study with 2+ years of experience in the marketing industry is required.
- You should be able to work independently and in a team environment, building effective relationships with other team members across the organization.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and organize tasks efficiently is essential.
- Expert-level proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe is necessary.
- Familiarity with marketing tools (such as email platforms, Salesforce, or similar systems) is preferred.
- Healthcare benefits experience is preferred but not required.
