About the role

We are looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist to join our Brand & Engagement Strategies team. This role leads business operations, manages project workflows, and supports integrated marketing and communications initiatives to keep the department organized, coordinated, and responsive.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects and initiatives with competing priorities, overlapping timelines, and cross-organizational partners while ensuring work remains organized, high-quality, brand-aligned, and on schedule.
  • Establish, communicate, and maintain effective department procedures and processes, including organizing, storing, retrieving, and archiving files, records, templates, creative assets, brand materials, and shared digital resources.
  • Coordinate vendor onboarding, documentation, ongoing vendor management, and exit procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational requirements and policies.
  • Support vendor quotations, purchase orders, invoice processing, billing reconciliation, and maintenance of billing records and vendor contracts in coordination with purchasing, finance, compliance, and other relevant teams.
  • Support compliance with Blue Cross Blue Shield Association brand standards by ensuring branded materials align with Association requirements and responding to periodic brand review requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience supporting business operations, marketing, communications, project coordination, or related functions.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong customer service experience and proven ability to build productive working relationships with stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience with digital asset management tools (e.g., Jira, Litho, Canto, Asana, Monday.com) is a plus.
  • Related agency, creative, or production experience is a plus.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $62,000 - $72,000. Additional compensation opportunities and incentives may be available and will be detailed during the interview process. Final base salary will be determined based on factors such as skills, competencies, education, experience, and internal equity.

Schedule

Hybrid workplace: employees within driving distance of our Berlin, VT office work onsite Wednesdays, with flexibility to work remotely the rest of the week. The qualified candidate will preferably be in the New England/New York area.
