Marketing Officer (On-Site)

Bank of New Hampshire is an award-winning local bank with locations across the state, celebrating its 195th year as the oldest independent bank in New Hampshire. We're looking for an experienced, creative, and strategic Marketing Officer to lead our marketing initiatives, champion the customer experience, and support the high-performing team that brings our brand to life.

Responsibilities

• Mentor the Marketing team, fostering collaboration, creativity, accountability, and professional growth.
• Manage marketing projects and campaigns from planning through execution, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery.
• Represent the marketing team in corporate projects to define and execute tasks.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop compelling campaigns and brand experiences.
• Drive customer-focused marketing strategies by analyzing feedback, identifying opportunities, and improving the customer journey.
• Oversee creative development for advertising, branded content, digital communications, promotions, events, and community engagement.
• Coordinate internal communications to keep employees informed of marketing initiatives, promotions, and product updates.
• Create engaging content for the website, newsletters, annual reports, press releases, and other marketing materials.
• Measure campaign performance, evaluate ROI, and recommend improvements based on data and customer insights.
• Ensure all marketing materials meet brand standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance guidelines.
• Support vendor management, audits, and other departmental initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted partner across the organization, helping strengthen our brand while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business Management, or a related field.
• Prior experience leading and developing a small marketing team.
• Strong prioritization, organization, project management skills and ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
• Strong understanding of customer engagement strategies across digital and traditional channels.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong copywriting abilities.
• Outstanding organizational, project management, and time management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure marketing effectiveness and campaign ROI.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
• A creative problem solver who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support company events and community initiatives.

Schedule

Full-time, on-site position based at the main office in Laconia, NH (Lakes Region).
