Marketing Responsibilities

Create impactful content by focusing on strategic intent on a variety of marketing materials including, but not limited to, email campaigns, sales and educational materials, website updates (WordPress), social media, advertising, presentations, and internal business deliverables.

Review the team’s drafts and copy to improve writing and technical accuracy to ensure alignment with the business objectives and target audience; provide development support and guidance as needed.

Manage multiple projects across business lines ensuring a focus on established objectives and adding value to continuously improve messaging while meeting/exceeding expectations and deadlines for overall success.

Collaborate with the team and key stakeholders to understand project scope, proactively researching and organizing details to determine an outline/plan.

Become proficient with marketing’s tech stack (HubSpot, Salesforce, WordPress, Adobe Professional).

Assist with public relations/media efforts in partnership with management and the PR agency; projects include press releases, social media activity, and website updates.

Facilitate management and training of the department’s content (Seismic) for company-wide use, offering best practices to increase adoption.

Support the company’s internal materials and projects; new hire process, company biographies/headshots, onboarding and training presentations, etc.

Represent the department at meetings when needed.

Contribute to department initiatives to improve collateral, processes, efficiency, and productivity.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or a similar discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years in a professional marketing role.
  • Financial services industry is a plus.
  • Successful track record owning the copy for multi-touch campaigns in a compliance-regulated environment.
  • Experience creating content for materials and managing projects to deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven initiative and proactive follow-through.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and marketing applications/technology (CRM, CMS, email platform, etc).

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Team oriented and collaborative.
